About the role:

You will be providing support and operational expertise for Sky TV's platform, systems and applications. Day to day, you will be monitoring uptime, and owning the resolution of issues using incident and problem management systems/processes.

Indicative skills & experience utilised in the role:

  • 5+ years of experience in a support position, with strong exposure to advanced troubleshooting in a L2+ capacity   
  • Linux server support and system administration
  • Web servers and services such as Apache, Varnish, Tomcat
  • Server and network monitoring tools
  • Scripting languages/automation tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, Perl
  • Database skills across SQL/Oracle databases ideally    
  • Experienced providing IT service delivery within an ITIL compliant environment
  • Strong communication skills verbal/written
