About the opportunity
As a Functional Business Analyst, your role will be a 50/50 mix of BAU and project work to keep you busy. On a day to day basis, you will be working closely with our internal customers and you could be resolving an issue by fixing a bug or re-engineering a process to deliver an outcome in a more efficient manner. We deal with a variety of systems/applications here and most are bespoke so you’ll need to enjoy rolling up your sleeves, learning new systems, and looking at ways to improve them. You will also lead initiatives like reviewing incidents, identifying trends and ongoing issues, and implementing improvement plans.
About you

- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with an ability to communicate complex concepts to a range of stakeholders.
- Advanced analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to pick up new bespoke systems quickly.
- Demonstrable track record of working with business process models and taxonomy.
- Expertise in efficient SQL scripting (2012 or above) is ideal
- Experience in implementing, upgrading, and supporting large scale ERP Systems
- Business experience involving Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Pricing, and Distribution are ideal
- Flexibility to work “on call” for 1 in every 3 weeks and additional hours as needed
- Able to travel to various sites across Auckland and, in some occasions, to our regional offices like Wellington
