Broadspectrum is a leading international provider of construction, maintenance, and asset management services. We operate in Australia, New Zealand, the Americas and Asia across diverse industries. Broadspectrum holds various road maintenance contracts and construction projects across New Zealand.
We are currently seeking Communications Technicians to join our Digital Network Infrastructure team in either Rotorua or Tauranga.
To be successful in this role, you will have a background similar to the below:
- Previous experience in a communications technician position
- Previous experience in installation and maintenance of radio and cellular transmission equipment within the NZ Telecommunications network.
- Previous experience and knowledge in installation and maintenance of inside plant transmission equipment
- Knowledge and experience working with structured cabling both fibre and copper, wireless networking - and all-round multi skilled technician
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Full drivers licence
- A highly motivated goal setter and goal achiever
- Be able to work strongly in a tight knit team and unsupervised at times.
The successful candidate should be motivated, and willing to work hard to ensure their own personal growth and the development of the team. There is a strong focus on Health and Safety as well as meeting Client expectations, quality workmanship and providing high levels of customer service. You will need to have good communication skills, and a desire to go the extra mile.
