We have a new and exciting opportunity for a skilled systems engineer with in a managed services environment. This role will be working with customers to improve their IT environment and solve technical problems. It is an opportunity to not just think in terms of IT but also of business as a whole, you will be using technology to solve business problems. You will work in an open and enjoyable team based work environment where you will have the opportunity to thrive.
This is a solutions focused business, they work with the client to understand their business, formulate IT plans, strategy, and direction. This role is responsible for technical problem solving and working with the customer to ensure their IT environments are cohesive and working the way they should be.
You will be an all-rounder, holding a range of technical experience. This Systems Engineer role will include using a range of technologies, but we predominately require a candidate with strong skills with Microsoft Server technologies and Virtualisation. We require a candidate with 3+ years of hands on systems engineering experience. You will have a great attitude towards clients, technology and teammates. Excellent English communication is key for this role as it will be client facing and working closely with technical and non-technical people. Any background around networking, storage, or security would be an asset, but Microsoft (AD, Exchange, Servers, Desktop environments) and Virtual server (VMware) skills are the key. The person who is successful in this process will bring a keen and positive attitude to the organisation. Any experience with Fortigate or switching would be an asset in this role.
