Connect Security Products is a locally owned company that imports and distributes electronic security products from some of the worlds leading brands such as ABB, Bosch & Sony. We are a fast moving business with fantastic people in a technology industry with branches in Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington. 

About the role

The technical sales representative primary role is to achieve a the sales budget for the Auckland and northern regions of the north island, by building and maintaining relationships with our key clients, including integrators, security specifiers, and security managers for large infrastructure and financial organisations.  

The role will require:

  • Monthly travel to main centres in the upper north island.
  • Occasional travel to Australia for industry shows
  • Arranging and carrying out product demonstrations 
  • Achieving a budget target and reporting deadlines
  • Growing the brands we represent in the your region
  • Supporting customers and colleagues at various times of the day, evening, weekend!

Skills and experience

This role is for a senior sales person. A proven background in sales is required, and preferably in a technical industry. We will be looking for somebody that works well with colleagues, works in with our company culture, and genuinely enjoys being part of a team.
