This Auckland based company is looking for a Architectural Drafter to join them.
Your new company
My client is based in Auckland and is a prominent name within the design and build industry. They have forged a good reputation for themselves in the new build industry and have won numerous Master Builders Awards. They currently have a newly created opportunity for an Architectural Draftsperson.
Your new role
You will have the rare opportunity to be the only in house designer/draftsperson for this company. This will mean that you will be in charge of ensuring that all of the outsourced work is done to a satisfactory standard. Your daily tasks will include some design work, working drawings, council consents and quality checks.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will have a LBP2 and have some experience with ArchiCAD and VectorWorks. You ideally will have had exposure to residential projects.
What you’ll get in return
This is the opportunity to run projects as a senior drafter as you will be the only in house drafter who looks after most of the finer details from start to finish. This is a great stepping stone for someone wanting to further progress themselves in the Architecture industry.
