Junior Planner - Te Awamutu 

Are you a Junior Planner with some ambitious fire in your belly?

We are actively on the lookout for a driven Junior Planner to be apart of a consultancy that offers a variety of complex work across large-scale development, environmental, and infrastructure projects. 

This is a standout opportunity for a Junior Planner be a part of a highly experienced team, have hands-on support and exposure working on significant projects through NZ. 

With big growth goals into new regions in 2018 - now is the time to jump on this exciting bus!

Key Responsibilities for this role:

  • Providing advice to clients on resource management plans and policies.
  • Resource consent for a wide range of small to large scale subdivision projects.
  • Providing innovative solutions for clients.
  • Preparation of resource consent applications, assessment of environmental effects, notice of requirements and outline plans, and processing of consent applications.
  • This candidate will have a strong background in land development projects ideally.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • A tertiary qualification in planning/resource management or related discipline is essential
  • 1-2 years' practical experience, within a planning role.
  • Good knowledge of the relevant Acts, legislation, and practices.
  • Must be eligible to work in New Zealand
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Excellent organisational ability and good analytical skills.
