Spinewave is a specialist chiropractic office in Remuera, seeking an experienced and professional receptionist/assistant for a flexible 30–35 hour permanent position, from 10.30AM to 6.30PM Monday, Tuesday, Thursday; and 6.30AM to 2.30PM on Friday.
You will be working in a fast-paced, progressive private practice on the cutting edge of natural health care, dealing with all kinds of people.
The role will be multifaceted, including that of personal assistance to the doctor, reception and administration duties such as:
- Liaising with patients in person and on the telephone regarding appointments.
- Controlling patient management software, databases and basic statistical information.
- Preparing patient reports and creating documents and PowerPoint presentations.
- Organising and maintaining filing systems.
- Processing fees and balancing daily accounts.
- Organisation of office supplies and product stock.
- Handling of correspondence/email with patients and other providers.
- Clerical tasks such as postage, banking, and photocopying.
- Personal assistance to the doctor, such as calendar management.
The successful applicant will have:
- Advanced knowledge and experience of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and literacy skills.
- The ability to multitask without losing efficiency.
- A genuine interest in natural and alternative health care.
- Social media, internet and/or marketing experience would be an advantage.
Parking is available at the practice and is a 10-minute walk from the Newmarket train station.
