Looking to be involved in a team that is experiencing exciting growth?  We have a ‘not to be missed’ opportunity in our Head Office Computer team in Manukau! As one of NZ’s leading retailers, you have the opportunity to work for a nationally, and globally recognised brand!  Working in the heart of Manukau City with plenty of free parking. With an emphasis on our furniture and bedding departments, you will preferably have expertise in this area.

We are looking for a customer service whiz that thrives in a busy environment and can juggle multiple tasks such as:

  • Provide specialised Insurance support for stores as required
  •  Ensure Stores invoice & process Insurance claims in accordance with Harvey Norman Policies.
  • Assist with Stores to manage Insurance Debtors to ensure they are at a maximum of 60 days. Send invoices to Insurers for payment & follow up as necessary.
  • Reply to all Insurance sales quotes in given time frames (as per SLA’s) in a professional manner and ensure client is fully informed of the process at all times.
  • Ensure goods are dispatched correctly following up with Store when necessary.
  • Sell the department’s products and services.  Achieve sales, gross profit and other targets/key performance indicators set by the Insurance Manager.

  • Great Product Knowledge
  • Ability to think innovatively and strategically, with a confidence to present your ideas
  • Confidence to interact with all levels of staff and management
  • Fantastic time management skills with the ability to handle competing demands and priorities
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Creative and innovative and ability to “think on your feet”
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office, including Word, Excel is essential
  • Willingness to learn & grow with the team.
