Ultimately, the goal of the programme is to provide our partners in the sport sector with a growing pool of talented individuals with leadership potential to meet the future capability needs of the sport sector. The Sport NZ Graduate Programme endeavours to identify and nurture potential, build personal and professional capacity, and endorse the presence of the graduates in the industry.
What we look for in a Sport NZ graduate:
- Leadership potential
- A strong sporting or active recreation background
- A solid academic record from a tertiary degree (this does not need to be in Sport and Recreation)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
