This is a pivotal leadership role, which will be responsible for the day to day operational management of the VetEnt clinical business. The successful applicant for this role will provide strategic input and management across the variety of divergent functions and business activities.  

Working to the strategic and financial objectives as set by the CEO, the role will seek to achieve optimum profitability by providing the direction, leadership and guidance to the business unit managers and staff with a drive to deliver operational excellence.  

The Operations Manager will have primary accountability for the provision of operational management support and assistance to the regional management team and business unit managers. You will lead the delivery of the monthly business and financial performance and will manage the budgeting and forecasting processes.

This is a senior management role and that requires the skills to be able to influence, challenge and provide high quality, valued management advice to the business units. Ideally, you will have experience working for a large corporate business at a senior management level with the demonstrated experience and ability to lead and drive a performance culture.

You must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science degree (BVSc or a recognised equivalent) and a level of skill commensurate with a minimum of 10 to 15 years’ experience with significant strategy and business development.
