Our Papatoetoe veterinary clinic are looking for a senior companion animal veterinarian who will be the clinical leader of our two-vet practice, replacing our current clinical lead who is moving down the line.
More about the position:
In the clinical lead role, you will be working closely with our clinical director to ensure we are providing the best possible care to the patients. You will be a key contributor to our regular veterinary forums, collaborating with other clinical leads in our Group, and you will help your clinical team grown and develop. In addition, you will be providing excellent medical and surgical care to our patients and you will be capable of working in a sole charge position from time to time.
The position is flexible and we can work with you. The role has the capability to be 5 days per week – but we are open to 3 or 4 days per week. Our key focus is that you are the right fit for the team and that you enjoy the thought of being a leader, as well as having the required veterinary skillset. There will be some weekend work, as this is our busier time of the week.

You are a passionate about providing the best possible veterinary care for your patients and are confident in your abilities. You are able to lead a team and can lead and implement change when required. You enjoy being a veterinarian and can inspire others to be the best vets and vet nurses themselves.
