We are a "Not for Profit" organisation. Our organisation provides culturally appropriate counselling and other support services to the victims of family violence within the South Asian community in Auckland.
We are seeking applications from qualified experienced NZAC provisional registered counsellors for a permanent position. The successful applicant will have extensive experience in one-to-one counselling, knowledge of Mental Health issues, handling of domestic violence victims and skill in managing high-risk situations.
This is an opportunity for a highly motivated practitioner, skilled in working with family support organisation, to join a positive and dynamic team, committed to supporting in achieving their academic goals. Should be in speaking and writing English. Knowledge of Hindi is must along with knowledge of any other Indian languages will be an added advantage.
This would require a Full-Time commitment of minimum 30 hours of work per week, for which you will be paid $25.00 - $30.00 per hour for your time. Hours and salary is negotiable.
