Whanau Whanui is a dynamic team that provides social services in the Whangarei and Mid North area. Incredible Years is one of the innovative programmes of Whanau Whanui aimed at parents. The following vacancy has arisen within the team:
Vacancy 060/2018 Incredible years Facilitator (1 position) Whangarei
We are looking for a dynamic person to support parents with children, aged between 3 to 8 years old by assisting their involvement in their children’s academic social and emotional needs through the delivery of the Incredible Years Programme. This is a full time position of five days per week (40 hours).
The successful applicants will
- Have a working knowledge of Social Services principles and practices
- Hold an appropriate tertiary qualification or a professional equivalent
- Experience in facilitating meetings with people and providing leadership through example, competency and positive role modeling.
- Have well-developed networks in the community and experience in working with people from a range of cultural backgrounds in the communities.
