Kāpiti District Council is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic team of Customer Service Officers. This great opportunity is based at the Waikanae Service Centre where you will be delivering exceptional customer service. Training will be provided as part of your induction plan.

This 12 months fixed-term opportunity offers part-time hours of 20 hours per week to be worked from Monday to Friday. Please note that additional hours may occasionally be required.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • outstanding track record in delivering customer service
  • experience in frontline customer service roles preferably including cash handling
  • experience in call centre where you were expected to handle various customer enquiries.
  • an ability to maintain confidentiality and political neutrality
  • a strong commitment to teamwork
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • computer literacy and good knowledge of Microsoft products.
