The Selwyn Foundation is seeking two permanent part-time Caregiver for its Wilson Carlile village in Hamilton East.
As a Caregiver, you will work closely with our residents to ensure daily personal care responsibilities, cleaning and assisting with medication administration are met in accordance with individual lifestyle care plans and enhancing the quality of life for our elders.

With an optimistic and caring approach you will be empathetic and have a passion to deliver the best possible service for the ageing person, who is central to everything we do. You will ideally have working experience within aged care to "hit the ground running" and have strong communication skills (both verbal and written) in order to interact with residents from all walks of life. Honest and reliable, you will pride yourself on your work and have reliable transport. You must also be eligible to work in New Zealand and any health care qualifications will be desirable.
We have two available part-time roles available:
Shift 1 (28.5 hours per week):
Monday 0700-1500, Friday 0700-1300 and Saturday/Sunday 07:00 - 15:00
Shift 2 (34.5 hours per fortnight):
Week 1: Saturday, Sunday 0700-1500
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday 1500-2100 and Wednesday 1500-2300
The Selwyn Foundation is one of New Zealand's largest not-for-profit providers of services to the older generation. As part of our service offering we provide Integrated Villages catering for Independent Living and Residential Care. Our Villages are home to over 1400 residents and a lively work environment for over 400 staff.
