We have an opportunity to appoint a vibrant and engaged colleague to contribute to the newly created School of Health Sciences in the recently established College of Health at Massey University. This full-time ongoing position is at either Lecturer/Snr Lecturer or Associate Professor level and will be located on Wellington campus. A PhD degree in Health Promotion, Public Health or related discipline is necessary. A person with connections to public health policy or practice with bicultural perspective would be preferred.

The School of Health Sciences includes staff with expertise across a range of disciplines from Biomedical Sciences to Public Health which includes Environmental Health, Health Promotion and Occupational Health and Safety. The Public Health/Health Promotion team provides a unique opportunity to collaborate across a range of areas with our current research portfolio covering health and social policy, Māori and indigenous health, health ageing and addictions, and community health and housing. Building on your own specialisation you will pursue an active research programme that contributes to the research portfolio of the School of Health Sciences and College of Health. You will contribute to the teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate Public Health and Health Science courses in the School of Health Sciences.
