We are seeking an experienced and resourceful Programme Coordinator to lead the delivery and coordinate logistics of our literacy and numeracy based training programmes. It is envisioned this will be a full time role (Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm). However 'part timers' encouraged to still apply.

About the Role

Learning and Development is your passion.  You will be dynamic with the confidence and ability to lead programme delivery and support Tutors in their roles.

You will be responsible for the day to day organising of our workplace training programmes.

You will need to think on your feet, enjoy working in a fast paced role and enjoy being part of an awesome team.

Your skills and experience

  • Adult teaching and/or training qualifications, NCALE preferred.
  • The ability to develop positive working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of adult education, training and development (ideally in a workplace context).
  • An understanding of relevant Government departments, i.e. TEC and NZQA.
  • Experience or knowledge of TEC funding streams - ' Workplace Literacy and Numeracy - WLN' funding preferred.
  • Experience or knowledge of the Literacy and Numeracy for Adults Assessment Tool preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge of NZQA, i.e. assessing unit standards preferred.
  • High level MS Office skills, i.e. Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • High level written and oral communication skills
  • The ability to prioritise tasks so that deadlines are met and projects are managed effectively.
  • The ability to travel nationwide when required.
