We run a revolutionary self-confidence program across schools in New Zealand. Our company has spread like wildfire across the country, and due to this rapid growth, we are now on the hunt for another superstar to join our team. The team are young, ambitious and motivated (sound like you?) and have a natural flair for public speaking, sales and working with children. 

Full training of the Marrzipan Method of teaching and sales will be provided, but we can't train personality! If you are a little bit crazy, but with your head screwed on at the same time, we want to hear from you! Hard work, passion and commitment are immediately noticed and rewarded. 

About the position:

We are looking for a charismatic and enthusiastic role model, who exuberates energy, isn't afraid to look really silly, can promote in front of large audiences with ease, is confident cold-calling, can be professional in meetings with Principals and has the "X Factor" that children are drawn to. You may not have ALL of these skills, but have enough faith in yourself that (with some training), you would nail all of these areas.

This is a full time position, though part time also considered for the right applicant. We are currently recruiting for positions in Auckland, Wellington, Bay of Plenty, Waikato & Christchurch with the opportunity to move/relocate (either within NZ or overseas) and amazing career opportunities down the track. Applicants must have their own car and license in order to apply for this role. 

You will be working autonomously and remotely - any office work will be done from your own home, with regular online meetings with the Marrzipan team. The ability to "crack on" and get things done without constant supervision is a must!

Duties & responsibilities:

• Cold-call new schools and generate new leads for the Marrzipan program
• Meet with school Principals to establish classes at the school
• Speak in assemblies with 400+ teachers and students 
• Teach our classes with provided Lesson Plans
• Direct short 15 minute plays with provided scripts 
• Host/MC performances of the plays as your students perform to their parents and school
• Intense training in the Marrzipan Method of teaching and sales provided 

This role enables you to "sell" something you are truly passionate about, and follow through to actually deliver and teach the service you are selling. You will help children to develop their self-confidence and self-belief through high-quality lessons, and get new schools on board so that more and more children can benefit from this unique program. This role is immensely rewarding, and you will go home at the end of the day feeling like you truly made a positive impact on the world.

• Natural ability with children 

Are you one of those people that children are instantly drawn to at a family gathering? Are you the unofficial "Aunty/Uncle" to all the children you know? Can you keep a room full of children fully engaged and entertained all day? Do you have natural discipline that keeps you in charge and them listening to you, without being boring and affecting the fun? 

• Sales Skills

Are you happy picking up the phone to someone you don't know? Are you confident when you're put on the spot and never lost for words? Can you walk in to a professional meeting and totally nail it? If you are passionate about something and believe in it, can you convince people that they should try it?

• Confident speaking in front of large groups

Do all your friends ask you to be the MC at their wedding? Are you the best wing-man/woman in town because of your ability to go up to anyone and start talking to them? Can you command a large group of people with ease? Are you confident and charismatic on stage in front of an audience?

• An infectious sense of humour

Can you make people laugh? Can you make children laugh?!

• X-Factor

Do you have it?

The following experience/skills are desired but not essential:

• Teaching experience
• Performing/drama background
• Excellent, clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
• Professional and articulate
• Able to work productively independently, and use own initiative
• Passionate about children's education and development, particularly Marrzipan's philosophy and teaching method (check out our website)

Remuneration

Base salary $40,000 + company car + fuel allowance + Apple laptop + iPhone + unlimited standard calls and 5GB data per month.

(Total package value: $46,000-$50,000)
