The portfolio of programmes at EIT is growing and we require an energetic, client-focused, tech-savvy learning design and technologies expert to engage with a range of curriculum development projects.
You will work alongside managers and academic staff to provide support and advice on the design, development, and delivery of new and revised curricula, learning resources, innovative curriculum and learning design strategies and approaches, including:
- Technologies for learning and teaching
- Blended/online learning
- Active and relationship-based learning
- Inquiry/project/experiential - based learning
- Assessment design
- Constructive alignment
- Data visualisation and communication
You will be part of the Educational Development Centre team and key tasks include:
• Actively contributing to the development of learning technology resources.
• Assisting staff with the use of EIT’s learning management system (Moodle) and other learning & teaching technologies supported by the organisation.
• Developing strategies, tools and resources to assist managers and academic staff to apply effective learning and curriculum design practice (including transition planning).
• Implementing collaborative, creative, problem- solving and project management approaches to build successful external and internal stakeholder relationships.
• Developing and maintaining a currency of knowledge and practice in the use of learning technologies, learning and curriculum design, teaching and learning.
We're looking for a creative, hands-on, detail orientated 'can do' team member.
Essential requirements for this role include experience in staff development involving educational technologies and emerging pedagogies with the ability to guide and motivate staff to enhance teaching and learning.
You must be proficient in using a Learning Management System in a learning and teaching environment, and ideally you will hold a graduate-level qualification in either Education, Learning Design or Education Technology.
Experience with visual and data communications would be an advantage.
