UniServices is Australasia's largest University research and commercialisation company. Owned by the University of Auckland, UniServices is employed by the Ministry of Education to deliver the International Languages Exchanges and Pathways (ILEP) programmes.
ILEPs programmes grow and strengthen foreign language learning in New Zealand schools by tailoring support for teachers and schools.
We have an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong service delivery ethos and financial acumen to join the team. The position will be to provide quality operational and delivery support to the ILEP Director, whilst facilitating and managing the project outcomes with the ILEP team.
All the hard work has been done to get systems and processes in place, so your key responsibilities in this role will be to monitor and report on the project budget, organise and oversee the current activities including workshops and immersion programmes, be the "go to" person to ensure any issues are resolved in a timely manner and ensure all participants in the programme, and the ILEP Director, are well informed.
A background in education or language learning isn't essential for this role, however an action orientated mind-set, attention to detail and strong organisation skills are. You'll be self-driven, a problem solver and need to hit the ground running.
To be considered for this role a Bachelor's degree would be an advantage. Excellent relationship management and organisational skills are a must, as is your ability to work in a multi-cultural environment as a team player.
This is a full-time fixed-term position until Monday, 31 December 2018, based at the University of Auckland's Epsom campus.
