About the business and the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated professional with a can-do attitude, wanting to take on a new challenge, to join our team here at the Marketing Association.
This role requires a varied skill-set, from sales through to learning & development.
The primary function of the Short Course Manager is to ensure that all Marketing Association short courses (including 1 and 2-day short courses, online and customised) are managed effectively from sales and delivery, to continuous content improvement, facilitator relationship management and student pastoral care.
Job tasks and responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and inter-cultural) including friendly, professional phone manner and email etiquette, presentation skills and public speaking
- Positive, can-do attitude, with 'think outside the box' mentality
- Proven sales skills and experience in lead generation and conversion, commercially savvy
- Stakeholder and relationship management skills
- Qualification in HR, L&D, or Marketing, with minimum two years' business experience
- Project management skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Great team player, collaborative
- Technically savvy: Office, LMS, CRM
- Video creation and editing knowledge would be beneficial
- Financial understanding- Budget Management, Reforecasting and PnL
- Experience in Professional Development
- Instructional Design Knowledge: Preferable.
