Walker Logistics are looking for a passionate new employee to join their family business as a Senior member of the team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated employee who can help us to continue to deliver a five-star experience to our customers all around New Zealand.

Established in 2002, Walker Logistics is now a leading provider of transport and logistics solutions in both the domestic and international marketplace. With facilities placed in Auckland, Hamilton, Palmerston North and Christchurch we can service more than 50% of the New Zealand market.

Key tasks and responsibilities?

• Full-time, 45 hours per week, 08:00 – 17:30, Mon-Fri with one-hour lunch break.
• Management of International consignments - ensuring timely and efficient booking, processing, tracking and updating clients and invoicing. 
• Liaising and coordination with all agents and suppliers.
• Quoting, costing and reporting profit and loss.
• Supervising the processing of inbound courier material and liaising with NZ Customs and MPI. 
• Coordination and management of 3PL services that Walker Logistics offers, database management and reporting.

Who is our ideal candidate?

• At least five years three years in a International Logistics Role
• A thorough knowledge freight processes.
• The ability to promote and develop Walker Logistics brands.
• A skill of being able to interact with Sales team for the benefit of company. 
• A good knowledge of Word and Excel.
