About The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to join our credit team full-time on a permanent basis.

You will be part of an amazing team in addition to a company that truly values its employees.

This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to join our credit team full time managing a ledger whilst creating strong relationships with our New Zealand and Australian business customers.

You will be responsible for effective credit risk management across all our Australasia customers, inlcuding:

  • · Credit analysis to minimize risk
  • · Resolving general customer queries within SLA's
  • · Monitoring and following up overdue accounts
  • · Providing analysis and reporting as required
  • · Resolving/Escalating disputes with customers regarding outstanding debt
  • · Reconciliation of Customer Accounts
  • · Negotiating and managing extended credit arrangements

About You

This role would suit someone who has a successful credit control or collections background, enjoys problem solving, is able to have courageous, respectful conversations with customers and can create and interpret reports. The ideal candidate will be a team player, eager to learn, who has a great can-do attitude, strong communication skills, good time management and the desire to make a difference. In addition, you should bring the following skills and experience:

  • 2+ years Credit Control or Collections in a commercial environment
  • Disputes management and strong negotiation skills
  • High attention to detail is essential and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Intermediate Excel working knowledge
  • Familiarity with both New Zealand and Australian customers and respective credit
