The Role
A rare opportunity to join one of NZ’s premier private investment firms.
We are looking for someone with high commercial acumen, high levels of energy, strong interpersonal skills and capable of analysing significant amounts of data. You will join a newly created team dedicated towards operational improvement and M&A due diligence locally.
Based in Auckland, this firm has an immediate requirement for an experienced financial professional. The length of contract will be 6 months to start with but may extend to a permanent role.
The role will require:
- significant data analysis
- operational due diligence
- strategic thinking
- high levels of energy and interpersonal skills
- understanding of operations and process improvement
Your Experience
- Ideally you have started your career in a large accounting / consulting firm / investment bank supplemented with actual operational business experience.
- You will need a broad comprehension of businesses including value drivers
- Strong interpersonal skills – ability to work effectively/constructively within multiple groups
- Operational data analysis with strengths in:
- Excel (esp pivot and power pivot)
- Access or other data warehousing software
- PowerBi or Tableau
