Position Description
Relationship Manager
Team Location Reports to
Sales Auckland CEO
Role Purpose
To establish a well balanced portfolio in your region across our core industry sectors, ensuring all risks are understood and managed. Exceed sales goals and targets. Be a brand ambassador for Kiwi Asset Finance, acting with Integrity and Professionalism to build a good reputation in our specific target markets.
You will be responsible for;
Portfolio Growth and Management
- Builds strong rapport with existing / prospective clients, along with industry related professionals and resellers of equipment
- Establish and maintain a well balanced portfolio across your region, with a good spread of clients by Industry, asset type and size
- Meets business growth targets as set by Management, along with yield and fee expectations
- Working with Kiwibank Business Managers and specialist to ensure a seamless experience for our mutual clients
- Providing customer services excellence
Planning and Organisation
- Effectively manage your region, ensuring a regular call program is maintained, to meet business targets and manage client relationships along with supplier and vendor partners
- Records all client calls, undertaking and obligations made, in Salesforce (CRM) in a timely manner
- Ensures work is planned, prioritised and organised
Operational
- Complete Credit submissions to a high standard, with accuracy and relevance to the size and complexity of the transaction
- Meet all Regulatory and Legislative requirements
- Comply with all reviews and covenant reporting in a timely manner
To be successful in this role you will need;
- to have relevant experience in asset finance or banking
- have an broad knowledge of plant and machinery
- have sound credit skills
- to have a good understanding of financial statements
- to be a strong problem solver with an analytical mind
- to have a positive, enthusiastic “can do attitude”
- be a team player
- a willingness to take responsibility, self-manage and show initiative
