Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will have responsibility to proactively assist in the order fulfilment and coordination of the logistic activities from the point of sales-order entry.

You will be the main point of communication on behalf of the Auckland Warehouse with Customer Services at Head office and any Sales Order or Stock Transfer related inquiries from any internal stakeholder.

This role is pivotal for our operation and we are looking for somebody with a true customer focus. 

You will enjoy having ownership and accountability for supporting the business process to deliver to our customers.

You will be someone who can manage competing priorities with strong organisational ability.  Previous experience working in a service focused logistics operation is essential.   You will have strong stakeholder relationship management ability and experience, with a real operational ability to ensure the required product is available.

You will have at least 3 years logistics experience, coupled with customer service experience.   You will be driven with a strong desire to succeed.  You will have a keen focus on continuous improvement and critical thinking ability.

ERP system and other related IT software knowledge are essential.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate the logistics activities from the point of completed sales-order entry
  • Support the business process to deliver to promise at least cost
  • Daily coordination with the Customer Services Team to establish an order of priority for sale orders release
  • Manage customers’ expectations regarding  the timeliness of order fulfilment.
  • Supporting the integration of our new products from business approval to successful launch
  • Co-ordinate with the logistics team to meet, cost, time and quality requirements.

Ideally you will possess the following key skills and attributes;

  • A minimum of 3 years in a logistics role
  • A proven customer services focus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to influence and communicate
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Planning and risk management experience
  • Good  Microsoft Excel and numerical skills with strong experience using ERP systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and results driven
  • Logical thinking person with an ability to think critically
  • And most importantly a positive ‘can do’ attitude
