A rewarding Senior Portfolio Performance Manager opportunity has presented itself to drive performance of our Merchant portfolio. In this role you’ll devise and execute pricing and cost strategies to improve revenue performance, as well as undertaking other objectives such as ensuring accuracy, transparency and fairness.
 
There is also a strong analytical aspect to this role, where you’ll need to understand the drivers of financial performance and consequently form strong relationships with the Finance team to carry out financial analysis to understand financial position. You’ll also need to understand what kind of data and reports will be useful to the business in making decisions regarding the bank’s plan.
 
Forecasting and interfacing with internal stakeholders is also part of the role, so you will need to be articulate and confident to leverage relationships with internal and external peers to create a collaborative approach in solving business problems and identifying opportunities. Critical to your success will be your ability to communicate your message along with an understanding of the industry in context with the current market climate.
 
What you’ll need to be successful in this role: 

• A strong track record in strategic and financial planning, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting (5+ years)
  
• Articulate communicator who is strong-minded and confident in their ability to understand and make important financial decisions
  
• Considerable data analytics experience and proficient with Excel
  
• Sound understanding of financial and business disciplines
  
• Presentation skills to high quality and speed, ability to confidently communicate to senior stakeholders
  
• Relevant tertiary business degree
