We have an exciting career opportunity for an experienced, self confident and enthusiastic 2IC to join our Christchurch team.  

At Online we encourage exposure to all facets of the warehouse with a strong emphasis on direct contact with our clients and their products. As a 2IC, you will work closely with the warehouse manager and staff to deliver excellent customer service to our clients and step up as the manager when required. You will manage the daily workflow of your site, and support the warehouse manager with leadership of people, operational planning, financial control, container and freight management, and health & safety. 

The successful candidate will have experience in managing people and their performance, juggle tasks in a multi-client, changing environment. You will be a team player with strong customer service experience and will enjoy both physical and mental challenges.

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

• Solid warehouse experience (preferably 3PL)
• Ability to work with speed and accuracy, often to deadlines
• Ability to take and give direction
• Strong attention to detail, including working with numbers
• Strong computer skills (including Excel)
• Have good communication skills (verbal and written) and be a team player
• Enjoy both physical and mental challenges
• Good forklift skills (ideally reach truck)
• Be physically well and strong, as some heavy lifting is required
• Hold a current Drivers Licence
