We are looking for an experienced Purchasing & Inventory Planner for a crucial role within the business.
In this role you will be responsible for the following:
- Plan product inventory levels based on past sales history and future forecasts
- Decide which products should be inventoried versus purchased for indent only orders
- Own stock rotation process and ensure maximisation of stock rotations to reduce aged and slow moving products
- Ensure timely and accurate purchases of stocks based on demand plans/forecasts
- Maintain high level of product availability across product line
- Manage product lifecycles and End of Life product process to reduce obsolete inventories
- Minimise freight/warehousing costs
- Inventory analytical reporting
- Forecast inventory levels
We are looking for the following skills and experience:
- SAP Material Requirements Planning experience is essential
- Strong Excel skills
- A minimum of two years of experience in a similar position
- Age profiling, sales analysis and forecasting experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
