The Company
Rogue Society Distilling Co is the fastest growing independent spirits company in New Zealand. Our mission is to take New Zealand’s finest gin brand Scapegrace Gin to the world and build a global premium spirits company. We are currently exporting to over 30 countries including an August launch into 20 states in the U.S..
Due to significant growth we are looking to add an Operations Manager to the team.

The Role
This newly created fulltime role will be a key integral part of our business reporting directly to the Managing Director.
We are looking for someone to take ownership over this division of the business and help us execute our vision to create a global premium spirits company from New Zealand.
The primary focus of this role is to:

Ensure stock and cover is available at our various 3PL warehouses across the world to meet sales demand and logistics needs

Supply planning for components and assembly item inventory

Own and execute purchasing activity to meet cost, time and quality requirements

Contribute to an efficient, effective and sustainable supply chain

Work closely with production manager to ensure ‘just in time production’ in line with our forecast
The role is a permanent position based in Ponsonby, Auckland.
The Person
Ideally, you have a few years experience applying supply chain principles including procurement, sourcing, inventory management and logistics. Some FMCG or alcohol industry would be hugely advantageous but not mandatory.
You will be self-motivated, organized and enjoy working within a tight-knit team in a highly entrepreneurial environment with the flexibility to grow with the business and become a key long term member of our family.
Strong leadership skills, well organized, and focused on meeting deadlines are a necessity.
We are looking for a logical thinker who can work ‘outside the square’ to resolve issues within this fast paced environment.
