What you'll need to succeed
- Industry recognized printing qualification - Diploma or Certificate in Print Machining or Foreign equivalent and/or 5+ years of related experience required.
- Flexible Packaging Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, in order to work with team members and others at all levels throughout the organization.
- Able to identify, define, and solve problems, and to seek help when required. A robust, logical approach to solving problems.
- Strong initiative and the ability to work with others to achieve desired results.
- Ability to use various computer applications in daily work, including MS Office and Prism.
- Knowledge and understanding of converting processes (or the ability and interest to learn them).
- Experience with barrier films and converting processes is highly desirable.
- Time management and personal organization skills, including the ability to manage multiple short and long-term priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to train, coach, mentor, and lead others, and to foster teamwork.
- Self-Starter who is approachable and comfortable working with personnel across all disciplines.
- The ability to maintain a secure work environment with a high level of confidentiality and adhere to privacy guidelines
- Take ownership and responsibility for own work. A sense of accountability for results
- Highly organized with the ability to work on multiple projects at any given time.
- Flexible with proven track record of meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work independently
