Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Undertake management system assessments in accordance with SGS requirements and prepare assessment reports. Deliver findings to clients and provide clear direction to particular items of corrective action where appropriate.
- Lead assessment teams and ensure that team members are adequately briefed so that quality of service is maintained and that effective working relationships are sustained both with Clients and within the team
- Establish and develop an effective partnership, which secures the commercial relationship and encourages opportunities for business development and increased client satisfaction with clients in your portfolio.
- Provide accurate and prompt information to support services, working closely with them to ensure that client records are up to date and complete and that all other internal information requirements are met.
- Maintain and develop assessment skills and technical and management system standards knowledge.
- Provide technical support to clients through business development, sales and customer service staff
- Deliver and Promote SGS Academy Training Courses.
- Act as a brand Ambassador for the organisation. This means act ethically, follow company rules and promote SGS services to clients so they are able to optimize business performance.
Required Skills & Profile:
Bachelor degree in environmental engineering or safety engineering or an equivalent professional qualification in a relevant subject.
A quality management professional with a working knowledge of:
- Statistics technology training
- Quality analysis tools training
- Managing for the sustained success of an organization — A quality management approach
- FSC/PEFC COC Lead Auditor
- ISO 9001/ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001 Lead Auditor
- Legal understanding of environmental protection, occupational health and safety management.
- Minimum 3-5 years quality management , technology management or environment management , occupational health and safety management working experience in the fields of mechanical, electronic, chemical and other manufacturing industry , the main business work experience of finance, insurance, aviation and other service areas
- Commercial understanding of compliance industry, minimum 2 years quality system management or environmental management and occupational health and safety management
- Knowledge of business processes and application of quality management standards
- Good verbal and written communication skills and an eye for detail
- Be self motivated, flexible, and have excellent time management/planning skills
- Can work under pressure
- Willing to travel on business intensively
- An enthusiastic and committed team player
- Good public speaking and business development ability will be considered advantageous
- Experience as an auditor with certifications and good knowledge of the following auditing standards will be an advantage:
- SMETA approved (Sedex / Smeta audit)
- ETI (ILO)
- TCCC-SGP
