The opportunity
This position’s primary focus will be to gain a deep understanding of customer’s needs through primary and secondary research and to work collaboratively to make implement process improvements for Customer services. Work proactively with the relevant teams across council to achieve outcomes for Aucklanders. Key to success in this role is the ability to identify and analyse customer preferences and trends and facilitate optimal outcomes to improve service delivery.
About you
Crucial for this role is experience in continuous improvement and project management along with a solid appreciation for the business process and system improvements. An organised self-starter with customer service background or/and understanding of business analysis approaches the ability to work and prioritise multiple projects/tasks, whilst understanding the impact on a magnitude of stakeholders. A learning mindset and understanding of empathy, the ability gather insights and deep understanding of improvement and initiative delivery is important.

You will work very closely with the Written Communications channel in Customer Services to identify their improvement opportunities and advocate for Customer Services when working on Council wide projects. With a thirst for learning, you’ll continually grow your knowledge with our various council business units and grow your networks. Working 40 hours per week with flexibility.
