Our client is looking for an experienced Distribution Line Mechanic to join their East Tamaki depot.

The role
Maintaining an electrical distribution network, our client is experiencing sustained growth and is looking to add to their experienced and established teams.
Seeking experienced and qualified Line Mechanics to apply their skills to the construction, maintenance, upgrade and repair, of the distribution network.
This is a great opportunity for someone who holds an EWRB registration and a current practicing licence.

Duties:
- To ensure the construction of electrical lines
- Assist with developing work plans for construction
- Dismantling of overhead electricity lines and equipment
- Supporting maintenance of electrical lines
- Meet Customer and regulatory requirements
- Adhering to best practice
- Maintain field paperwork, reports and inspection documentation
- Compliance with health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements
Skills and experience:
- EWRB registration
- Current practising licence
- Distribution industry experience
- Experience working on the Auckland Network an advantage
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Have experience working on lines up to and including 33kV
- Class 1 NZ driver's licence
- HT licence (advantage)
