Electrix Limited is a high profile, long term leader in the Australasian electrical and gas contracting markets. Electrix Limited is also one of New Zealand's foremost electrical construction and maintenance companies and provides a wide range of services to the power, electricity, gas, industrial and commercial sectors.
We seek an experienced Constraints Coordinator to lead the constraints process, ensure a capable network and to coordinate faults restoration on the streetlight network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate actions on any network constraints with client and formulating actions
- Update all concerns on constraints status
- Coordinate all network faults affecting street lighting
- Coordinate constraint outages with other departments to maximise outage utilisation
- Build and maintain customer relationship
- Ensure that there is adequate technical expertise during normal hours and after hours
- Work with Dispatch to ensure the entire reactive operation is coordinated effectively
- Monitor team performance and maximise productivity through the allocation and coordination of workload
- Review the overall performance of the faults operation to identify and implement improvement opportunities
- Maintain Electrix operational, quality processes and KPIs
- Provide leadership and coaching to field crews
- Coordinate resources, plant and materials to resolve all follow-up faults
- Identify training opportunities and providing fault crews with the skills and knowledge to perform to the required standards
- Identify and report QSE issues, understanding QSE standards applicable to the position and providing appropriate support to QSE and their representatives
Key Attributes:
- Qualified and registered line mechanic/electrician
- Switching training and experience
- Recently held faultman network warrants and Transpower switching preferred
- Recent experience in all aspects of electricity distribution networks
- Ability to work autonomously and organise a team
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office
- Excellent problem solving with the ability to make quick decisions
- Project management experience preferred
This position is based in Albany. Attractive rates of pay are available commensurate with experience, together with an attractive superannuation (conditions apply) and company funded medical insurance. Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
