We are currently seeking a motivated person to be part of a growing team of friendly and professional people at our Rotowaro Mine, in the role as:
Mining Engineer
The mine is located in the Rotowaro coal field, an area that has had a long history of both open cast and underground mining. Reporting to the North Island Operations Manager, the Mining Engineer will support the Rotowaro Mining Operations by providing professional mining engineering services to ensure the site production and technical objectives are met. Contributing to mine planning, resource optimisation and improvement projects that will maximise value at Rotowaro.
To be successful in the role you will have:
- 5 years experience as a degree qualified mining professional with experience in mining engineering and mining project development
- Communication and time management skills to engage with all facets of the business both internally and externally
- Technical skills to effectively deliver the mine engineering needs of the company
