Key Accountabilities

Complete bunkering tasks on the wharf to ensure ships are fuel filled appropriately

Discharging of tankers is undertaken in a timely and safe manner

Undertake jet release terminal duties including assisting with maintenance when required, and any other relevant duties

Complete all tasks in a manner that is safe to all personnel and the environment
- To work with the Supervisor and/or Branch Manager so as to maximise business returns whilst minimising exposure and risk for the company
- To ensure all activities are carried out with regard and recognition of Health and Safety requirements
- Undertake all other relevant work requests relevant to your position.
Position requirements

Current and full New Zealand Driver's Licence

Effective communication skills, written and verbal. This must include clear hand writing.

Basic to intermediate computer skills required

Must demonstrate a mechanical aptitude

Able to work flexible hours, including day, night or weekend shifts

Petrochemical industry experience would also be highly advantageous
-
Previous wharf experience is also an advantage

Well founded numeracy skills
-
Experience with and / or understanding of Health and Safety practices in a safety critical discipline would be beneficial

Able to interact with all levels of suppliers and clients

Ability to work well and multi-task under pressure

Physically fit and capable of working shifts
