Chanel is now recruiting the services of a dedicated Assistant Boutique Manager to assist in leading the team of our Fragrance and Beauty Boutique in Britomart.

As an enthusiastic and focused leader, you will be responsible for all facets of the day to day boutique operations including establishment of active and strategic client relationships, management of sales budgets and KPIs, mentoring and leadership of the team, rostering, inventory management and above all, ensuring that the Boutique ambience and customer experience is consistent with Chanel's commitment to excellence.

Your main areas of responsibility will include:

• Coaching and mentoring all team members to on a day to day basis, acting as a mentor and ensuring competency in all areas of the Boutique
• Leading by example to achieve a high standard of client service in order to maximise the sales and profitability of the Boutique.
• Working with the Boutique Manager to identify and address performance issues within the team.
• Analysing sales figures and product sell through to report back to head office teams as required.
• Selling across the three categories of Fragrance, Makeup and Skincare, including educating customers of the features and benefits of each product.
• Conducting makeovers and skincare consultations for both existing and new customers utilising your excellent product knowledge.

We are seeking the following skills and attributes;

• Strong retail operational skills with at least two years experience in a management role, preferably within a similar luxury environment.
• Demonstrated ability to create and develop a strong client data base through outstanding customer and after sales service.
• The ability to achieve and exceed budgeted sales targets and drive your team to success.
• Excellent knowledge of skincare, cosmetics and fragrance and the ability to interact with clientele across these areas.
• The ability to support, lead, motivate and inspire, creating a strong, friendly people-oriented culture of high performance
• Outstanding personal image and presentation standards in line with Chanel guidelines.
• A focus on the delivery of a luxurious client experience and the ability to develop a strong loyal client network
• A high degree of professionalism and maturity in all areas of business.
