About the role

Position Description:

We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to run our busy Chilly Box factory food outlet shop in Palmerston North.

As the Store Manager of the Chilly Box, you will oversee the running of the shop, ensuring that all aspects of the store are being managed correctly and in line with the owner's wishes.  You will manage the collection of information for reporting purposes, undertake ordering, assist with rosters and deal with all manner of staff issues.  Your biggest focus will be customer service and you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained by all staff.  You will deal with customer complaints, make tough decisions and oversee stock management.  You will have excellent relationship management skills and be able to maintain good relationships and communication with internal and external suppliers and key clients.

You will be keen to take the Chilly Box to new heights, working as part of a dedicated team.  You will contribute to marketing efforts, look at process improvement and develop ideas.

You will be responsible for providing the Managing Director with the weekly and monthly shop reports in a timely manner and to a high standard.
