The Company
Owned by the TOMRA Group, (a publicly listed organisation on the Oslo Stock Exchange) Compac is a New Zealand based company with a global foot print. We are a world leader in designing, building and installing computer-controlled, fresh produce sorting equipment. When you pick up a piece of fruit at the supermarket, there's a good chance it was sorted by a Compac machine. We have over 500 staff worldwide and customers operating in more than 40 countries.
The Role
Our Finance team is looking for our next Accounts Payable Manager. The role is responsible for the end to end management of the company's accounts payable function and ensuring accounts information is processed accurately and promptly. This role is responsible for two direct reports.
The Accounts Payable Manager will also have a continuous focus on process improvement. This will involve working closely with the internal customers of accounts payable. We are always looking for improvements that result in adding value or delivering a more effective and efficient service to our stakeholders.
About You
We are looking for a person with substantial accounts payable experience as well as some supervisory or management experience. You should be comfortable operating accounting systems in an ERP environment and have strong Microsoft Office skills. Excellent interpersonal skills are a must, along with great communication skills. You'll be results focused as the role is very deadline driven. Most of all, we want a positive and enthusiastic person who loves working in a team-based environment.
