We are currently seeking an experienced Credit Controller and Accounts Receivable Specialist who has the skills and experience to help lead a small but high performing accounts team at a leading insurance provider.

What will you be doing?
 
Our client prides themselves on shaking up their industry, which in turn has seen the business go from strength to strength.
  
This role is responsible for taking ownership of the credit control function which will include;
 

• Managing bank accounts
• Reconciliations
• Weekly and monthly reporting
• Monthly reviews of key customer accounts
• Aged debtor reporting
• Assisting Accounts Receivable and Credit Control function as and when required
• Management of Accounts Receivable and Credit Control function
• Process improvement

This is not your run of the mill role where ordinary performance will get you by. You will be working within a collaborative, team-focused environment, where your 'get up and go' approach will put you in good stead to be successful. Your ability to communicate to a varied and diverse audience is paramount as is your ambition to exceed targets. A sense of humour and a positive attitude are essential!
  
As the successful applicant you will have previous experience in collections AND accounts receivable, ideally in the insurance industry. You will be actively seeking a role where you can demonstrate your skills and experience as well as providing leadership and guidance to the team. 
 
In addition to the above you will need to have:
  

• Strong attention to detail
• Reconciliation expertise essential 
• Advanced Excel skills - ESSENTIAL 
• The ability to work with minimal supervision
• Experience in working with different systems
• Great time management skills
