If you're a strong writer with a broad range of skills and experience in primarily consumer PR, you could be the 'Wright' fit for us. 

We're looking for someone with a minimum of two to three years PR experience, preferably working in a PR agency, who is keen to further their experience by taking charge of some key consumer clients and working alongside our senior practitioners.

You will actively participate in our weekly team brainstorms - a great opportunity to get a range of creative ideas to support your own PR planning. 

It would be useful to have a passion for food, lifestyle and beauty trends. 

You'll spend your day writing product releases and short form copy for magazines, liaising with social media influencers and brand ambassadors, creatively brainstorming media kit concepts and liaising with our affiliate agency in Sydney.  It's a team effort here at Wright Communications, where we're all striving together to be the best in all areas of the PR business.

Skills: Plan and write texts, plan and present PR concepts to clients, handle complex
negotiations, manage client engagements, demonstrate creativity, knowledge of NZ media landscape and key editorial contacts, manage media relations activity, develop communication plans, manage communication measurement and evaluation tasks, look for and manage business development activities, manage allocated budgets. 

Personal application: Plan and manage team effectiveness, clearly outline problems and suggest solutions, demonstrate critical thinking, embrace diversity internally and externally, adaptability to different client processes and an innate ability to manage your own time effectively.  

Experience: Client co-ordination, writing, media strategies, sell-ins across all platforms (TV, radio, online news, magazines), tactical PR plans, desk research, event management, social media influencer engagement. 

Ambition: Strive for excellence in every endeavour, pursue high quality work and service, contribute to a positive team spirit and accept challenges head-on. Actively participate in the PR profession and attend after hours PRINZ organised training throughout the year.  Abide the PRINZ Code of Ethics. 

Qualifications: Bachelor of Communication Studies Major in Public Relations or similar qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
