My client are a local equipment hire business who are seeking an experienced small engines and general mechanic to join the team.
Work alongside a team of mechanics in a sociable but busy workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service and repair of machinery and equipment ensuring that it is ready to be sent out
- Work on all types of equipment, machinery, pumps etc.
- Fault finding and general diagnostic work
- Assist customers with faults or breakdowns
- Customer service - assist with equipment rentals during busy times
Skills and Experience:
- Full class 1 drivers licence
- Demonstrated mechanic experience ideally working on a range of small-medium sized equipment
- Ability to work autonomously
- An eye for detail and ability to problem solve
