The opportunity
Equiptec Rentals provide scaffolding equipment for tradespeople and home owners. They offer specialist residential scaffolding products and services, from small mobile scaffolding to fully enclosed wrapped scaffolding.
The current team are qualified scaffolders, experienced in erecting structurally sound scaffolding efficiently and without damaging any property. We are looking to expand on this current team to meet demands of the business and future growth/succession planning.
The role
We are looking for our new team member to currently hold a scaffolding ticket (to any level) to join the team to erect/dismantle scaffolding to various heights and structures, as required.
The main focus is safety, working to the ‘Good Practice Guidelines for Scaffolding in New Zealand’ is the basics, Equiptec Rentals are creating their own ‘Green Book’ which states the standard operating procedures that are the Equiptec standards and ‘Good Practice’.
Who should apply:
People with a passion for working outdoors, who have prior scaffolding experience and a relevant ticket.
The jobs involve leading or working in a team, so first and foremost, you need to be a team player, with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
Equiptec Rentals have done a lot of work recently to listen to their staff and make some changes to make it ‘the’ place to work in Dunedin if you want to work in scaffolding. The feedback from the staff is great and they aren’t done yet with positive changes!

What skills will you possess?
* Ticket in Scaffolding
* Demonstrable experience in Scaffolding
* Good knowledge of NZ legislation/guidelines for scaffolding
