We are looking for a person who can author and compile tender documents for submission. It's an important role, contributing to our business success in the corporate and multi-site segment of our our marketplace.

The role also involves marketing support, assisting with a broad range of marketing initiatives across the business.

CrestClean is NZ's largest kiwi-owned cleaning company, we provide cleaning services to many large organisations and corporate.

With nearly 21 years of interfacing with customers, CrestClean has gained an excellent reputation as a capable service provider. From large multi-site corporates to industrial premises, showrooms, schools and offices, our team of 1,750 personnel clean for more than 5,000 customers nationwide.

About the role:

CrestClean is looking for someone who has the communication and personal skills to help expand on our position as New Zealand's premier commercial cleaning company. You will be working closely with our Regional Managers to develop new business opportunities, respond to tenders/Request for Proposals (RFPs) and ensure a smooth service delivery for key national accounts.

We operate in a business to business environment, and participating in tenders and RFPs are part of our industry's requirement when servicing larger corporates, national companies and organisations. This role requires the preparation of tender documents by drawing from information resources about our company to accurately answer the required tender questions and prepare the final document.

Ideally you know the language and style of tenders…the customer wants to see specified and succinct answers, in clean crisp language with no frills or padding.

Key Responsibilities of the role

  • Manage, co-ordinate and submit responses to tenders and RFPs
  • Create customised proposals for new business opportunities
  • Work with Regional Managers on developing tender and RFP strategies
  • Maintain and develop an extensive RFP content library
  • Manage service transition for new accounts
  • Act as day-to-day contact for a portfolio of key national accounts
  • Grow revenue from within existing customer base
  • Develop new business opportunities    

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience in procurement/tenders and account management 
  • A relevant tertiary qualification
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines
  • A high level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Accurate proofreading
  • Competence in using Microsoft Word and working within Office 365
  • Document management skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Willingness to up-skill through continuous education
