We are a small, focused team of down to earth experts based in Auckland.  We have been operating for over 10 years and consider ourselves to be the market leader in leak detection.  We work Auckland wide with plumbers, property managers and residential clients.

The Role!

We are looking for a mobile Water Leak Technician to provide prompt and professional service to our customers. You will be provided with a vehicle to conduct company services and protective clothing as you will be out in all types of weather.

Your role will be out in the field, working one on one with the customer, and you will need to be able to demonstrate a high standard of professionalism. Much of your communication will be through customer interaction, over the phone, by email and occasionally reporting and meetings will be required.

There will be an initial training period, depending on your experience, after which it is expected you will be able to operate autonomously. In saying this, you will work as part of this tight-knit team and join up other members when required. 

To be successful you will need to be someone who is level headed and a problem solver, with great communication skills. Prior experience or a plumbing background would be preferred.  Hours will vary from job to job depending on its location.  There will be times when you'll be required to work outside normal hours, however generally you will be working Monday to Friday between business hours.  Working and traveling out of town will be required from time to time.

• Prior industry or plumbing experience
• Good diagnostic and practical skills
• Excellent time management
• Good communication skills and a sense of humour
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Ability to follow technical instructions and show initiative to solve issues outside the supplied information
• Tenacity to see all jobs through to completion, and be prepared to perform outside normal working hours when required
• Confidence and the ability to be professional and to relate to people on all levels
• Knowledge of Health and Safety policy, building and safe work practices and any GPS surveying/processing would also be an advantage
• Good hearing
• A clean Driver's License and able to pass random drug and alcohol testing
