My clients are one of New Zealand’s most prestigious names in thoroughbred horse auctions. Famed for their outstanding and impeccable venue they are looking for Grounds People to join their team. With expansive grounds you will need to be hard working and willing to work in a variety of assignments from preparing and cleaning stables to general gardening and maintenance.
Key Duties
- General grounds keeping and gardening duties
- Assisting with the preparation of stables prior to and during sales
- Working to deadlines in order to prepare the grounds at key times
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in gardening or maintenance
- Full driving licence and able to drive a manual vehicle
- A passion for working in a showcase environment with an impeccable eye for detail
- Comfortable working in a stables or with horses
- Excellent communication skills
You must also be able to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol test, have a clear criminal history and the legal right to work in New Zealand.
