We are looking for a new member to join our Auckland team. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for customer service and sales. This role offers the opportunity to work as part of a close-knit team in a great company with significant growth aspirations.
This is a great opportunity for a confident person with the ability to establish customer relationships to bring together all their skills and talents to take on the challenge and create a future with a long standing, and successful company.
To be considered for this position you will ideally have experience in a similar role, a working knowledge of heavy transport parts, and a knack for sales. Alternatively, if you have had experience working with commercial vehicles and consider yourself somewhat of a parts guru with an interest in sales, then we want to hear from you. Although preference will be given to candidates with trade qualifications in automotive parts and merchandising, full training and ongoing development is available for the right candidate, including programmes to attain a trade qualification.
Key Responsibilities in the role will cover:
- Service customer enquiries in a timely manner
- Process orders effectively
- Dispatch goods
- Have a working knowledge of stock
- Manage and organise stock
- Customer invoicing
To be successful in the role you will need:
- Good communication and listening skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to adapt and cope under pressure
- Enthusiasm, and energy, with a positive attitude and ability to learn
- Comprehensive computer skills
TRT are leading manufacturers of Heavy Transport Trailers, Mobile Cranes and Specialised Equipment with offices in Australia and New Zealand. A privately-owned business, TRT offers fully integrated engineering design, manufacturing and fabrication along with parts distribution and mechanical/crane service.
