Reporting directly to the Laboratory Manager, our Geochemicals business is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Laboratory Assistant to join the team. In this entry level position, you will be required to efficiently work in a fast-past environment while ensuring continued compliance with methods and procedures at all times

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking applicants who are confident and capable of the following:

• Perform wet chemistry analysis of geochemical samples.
• Ensure quality and quantities of samples are produced.
• Maintain daily production targets.
• All functions to be performed in correct numerical order and
following established procedures.
• Follows set QC requirements and avoids contamination.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques (desirable).
• Previous experience working within a chemical analytical
laboratory (advantageous).
• Self motivated and able to work in a team.
• High level of integrity.
• Ability to follow instructions.
